I recently hosted the sweetest little friendship gathering in our unfinished space — a simple evening that turned into something so special. We set a long wooden table under the stars, dressed it with our benches, linens, florals, and the dreamiest cake from a local baker. Even though the space is still raw and in the early stages, it felt magical — full of laughter, connection, and beauty.
Some of my daughter’s closest friends joined us, and we laughed until our stomachs hurt. I’m so thankful for the local florist and baker who trusted my vision and brought it to life — they added so much heart to this night.
It reminded me of what I truly love: creating spaces for people to gather. This might have been a small gathering of ten, but it was the beginning of a bigger dream — to offer a beautiful place for others to do the same.
This styled outdoor dinner shoot captured a dream years in the making—gathering around a handcrafted solid wood table in the middle of a sunlit field. With curated linens, florals, and wooden accessories, the setting reflected the heart of our business: faith, family, craftsmanship, and connection. It celebrated intentional design and heirloom-quality furniture made by hand. I have a passion for creating spaces where people feel at home and I'm grateful for the community and the journey God has led us on.
Easter is nearly here and I am reflecting on how grateful I am for my “living hope” (1 Peter 1:3). I look forward to celebrating Easter with my family next week, and enjoying some down time. Sunday is typically the day we do most of our Easter festivities, going to church, having a big meal, and the beloved Easter hunt. Jamie and I are very tricky Easter bunnies, so we will be hiding the eggs on the kids all over the farm. We don’t like to make it easy for them and enjoy watching them run all over the place.
